?Dream Big? is a digitally printed 44? square fabric quilting panel depicting a single magnificent, multicolored flower. During this class, you will use your embroidery machine to bring this panel to life by adding the dimension of quilting. Each of the flower petals will be embossed with a unique quilt design?no two alike. The magic of this process is possible using one of two methods?either by using the camera on the embroidery machine or by using placement templates. The minimum hoop size for the project is 8? x 12?

Not all applique designs come ready for cutter use. Some machine applique designs are a challenge to edit for this purpose. Many of these designs must be seriously deconstructed (broken down) before we even begin to reconstruct them for the cutter. This class is all about applique - construction, deconstruction and reconstruction. Come and learn how to edit a commercial applique pattern for use on your cutter.

Patches of Spring is a lovely wall hanging that celebrates the coming of Spring. Designed by Lynda Howell of the Stitch Connection (Stitcher?s Garden), Patches of Spring features colorful, easy applique which can be by machine embroidery or by traditional sewing machine methods. Both methods will be included in class instruction. Completed quilt size is approximately 35" H x 30" W.

Every technique you learn can be used in garment construction or home decor as well as quilting. Class is for BEGINNERS as well as the experienced sewer. A great mother/ daughter class to take for bonding. This will be an ongoing class so you can start in ANY month and keep going till complete. You can miss a month and pick up the block on the next run or at a Denton Sewing Center Sit and Sew (every other Friday evening - check the schedule).
